This Valentine's Day, the clothing retailer Moosejaw Mountaineering is giving you the opportunity to love the one you're not with by using the Moosejaw "permission slip thing." Available at the brand's Facebook page, the permission slip is a form you can fill out that asks your significant other to allow you to have an affair or fling with another person. (Romantic, huh?)

The Moosejaw permission slip itself kicks off with a reassurance: "First, I really love you and I want you to know that." After that, it goes on to describe how the bonobo apes alleviate social conflict by having sex, and then asks for permission to "Snuggle," "French" or "Fully do it" with a person whose name you can put down on the blank line.

Moosejaw Mountaineering is known for its quirky and sexed-up marketing campaigns, so the Moosejaw permission slip seems to fit in with the brand's marketing tactics to keep its customers "unattached and oversexed," as Adweek describes.
