David Anthony Hall is a talented artist in more respects than one. Although his large-scale landscape photographs are works of art in and of themselves, he wanted to translate their immense size to fans who could only view them online. Identifying the problem at hand, he set out to solve it. His solution is inspiring.
Instead of making them as large as possible so that they engulfed people’s entire computer screens, David Anthony Hall did the opposite. He reduced each of his works to a scale of 1:50 and then placed small figurines in front and around them, creating a diorama of an art gallery.
