Simon Laws' 'Drew House' Offers Opulent Way to Enjoy Nature

Simon Laws, an Australian designer from the Anthill Construction design firm, has created this magnificent home away from home called 'Drew House.' The Drew House is a prefabricated summer home that merges nature with luxury accommodations, making it perfect for people who want the camping experience but don't want to sacrifice comfort.

The Drew House comprises two pods -- one for living and one for sleeping -- and a bathhouse. Connecting the living and sleeping pods is an open central space with an area for outdoor dining. The structure was crafted of "natural oiled timbers and other low-finished materials," describes Laws, who also designed the Drew House to be eco-friendly with solar panels for hot water and electricity, as well as rainwater tanks.
