Minature Pothole Gardens

Steve Wheen Turns Hazardous Roads Into Flowery Fun

Potholes are fissures that drivers try not to ruin their tires upon; for bicyclists, however, even small potholes can be extremely dangerous and therefore Steve Wheen (a cycle artist) decided to fortify his traveled roads of London with a green thumb.

Steve Wheen began filling potholes with soil, flowers and a little love to begin creating miniature masterpieces that have been shot and uploaded to his blog. These bursts of color contrast vividly against London's dark, cobble-stoned streets giving passersby a reason to smile and appreciate the inner-happiness such a small package can bring.

Of course, it would be nice to have the potholes fixed, but some may want to just use them as an excuse to witness more of Wheen's keen for the green.
