SnowXu Foldables are lightweight snowshoes designed to replace the bulky and dated snowshoe designs currently in use. These snowshoes may be light, but they are made of durable materials that can stand up to the toughest tundra. The shoes look unlike the current models in use, which is a good thing.
Even a snowshoeing neophyte can see the advantages offered by the SnowXu Foldables. The shoes are lightweight, weighing in at less than two pounds apiece. They also fold and can be easily carried in a small sack or backpack. This eliminates the need for having to carry two over-sized shoes up the side of a mountain when you're already struggling to heft your pack. The SnowXu Foldables were designed by James Page and are currently seeking funding on Kickstarter.
