Although he has always appeared a little rough around the edges, these portraits transport Sir Walter J Wallis off of the stage and into the life of an outdoorsman. From forestry to fishing, this photo series is centered around the idea of being a man's man.

Shot by London-based photographer Russell Cobb, the Sir Walter J Wallis portrait series could easily be a lookbook for a men's fashion brand. Late last year and early this year saw many fashion designers embracing the lumberjack look, which happened to neatly balance out the dapper and dashing styles that were on the other end of the fashion spectrum. The Sir Walter J Wallis series, however, is more concerned about personality than looks.
