The Smart Boombox is a budget boombox designed by Matt Keeter. The Smart Boombox is made of plywood and cardboard and plays music off of an SD card. The boombox has been designed to be tech-savvy and cheap; Keeter sees it priced at under $100 dollars.

The Smart Boombox is is made with a cardboard mold covered in laser-cut wood. The boombox features five touch controls and is powered by a single 9V battery. In addition to being budget-friendly, the Smart Boombox is also eco-friendly. Boomboxes tend to become dated sooner rather than later. All of those old plastic boomboxes find their way into landfills where they sit for all eternity, not decomposing. The Smart Boombox would be able to return to the Earth when it became out-of-date, something that can't be said about the ghetto blasters currently being made.
