Not all people interested in designing fashion actually want to be fashion designers; the Clash Project allows artists to explore this desire without plunging headfirst into that industry. Part of Fashioclash, which was established back in 2009, the Clash Project showcases some of these experimental ensemble creations.
Founded by Matylda Krzykowski, Clash Project highlights such artists as Sue Doeksen, Valentin Loellmann and Fabian von Spreckelsen. This project started with 10 artists and has now grown to include three times that number. From quirky costumes to outrageous silhouettes, everything showcased in the Clash Project is something that Lady Gaga would breakfast in.
The Clash Project ignites people's imaginations and pushes the boundaries when it comes to fashion design. Not only does it let non-fashion designers design clothes, it challenges existing fashion designers as well.
