Bold Midriff-Baring Ensembles

The Pucci Spring 2012 Collection is Gypsy Chic

After the mixed reviews that Gwyneth Paltrow received regarding her Emilio Pucci dress at the Emmy Awards last week, audiences were curious to see what the Pucci Spring 2012 collection had in store. Much to everyone's surprise, it was much of the same as the majority of the pieces in the show were strikingly similar to Paltrow's dress, but this time, reviews were not mixed.

The Pucci Spring 2012 collection is a surefire hit, although not many people besides the supermodels walking down the runway and a handful of risk-taking celebrities could pull these looks off in complete confidence.

Midriffs were the erogenous zone of the collection and most looks were focused on that area. Artistic director Peter Dundas presented a collection of gypsy-chic looks that somehow remained modern -- likely due to the prominence of black lace and visible panties underneath the sheer maxi skirts.

The Pucci Spring 2012 collection is definitely a highlight of Milan Fashion Week and will be talked about for seasons to come.
