The Boxpark mall is the first of its kind: the designers behind the project came up with the innovative and Earth-friendly idea of creating an entire pop-up mall from shipping containers. For the designers and architects working on the Boxpark mall, there was a high level of excitement and anticipation because of the speed at which the project would go up and see the light of day; normally, an architectural project can take up to five years to come to fruition.

The Boxpark mall, built from recycled shipping containers, will be home to an array of small retail outlets and other independent brands.
