There is something very unique and yet uncannily familiar about Greg Bogin’s artwork. With the rise of minimalist forms of art, I’m not surprised that I find his pieces falling into that category. Nevertheless, Bogin makes this style completely his own by introducing a rainbow frame-like motif that makes the edges of each canvas so much more interesting than its center.
Strangely enough, Greg Bogin’s technique of focusing on the borders rather than the blank canvas within makes you appreciate the pieces as a whole. Playful and quirky, his art is also creatively optimistic. By that I mean, there is a sense of happiness that exudes from both the color and shape of the works.
