Incorporating snakes into a photoshoot may seem like a desperate ploy to get attention, but it is actually a clever move that helps highlight the magnificent makeup skills of Paco Puertas and styling of Thu-An Nguyen. Without the snakes 'At First Bite' would just be another topless photoshoot alienating women and luring in men who just want to see some nudity. I was one of those men. I stayed for the snakes.
