Personally I like the idea of viewing 3D without the glasses, so I’m glad Amber Dodds has hand-crafted three-playing cards that produces the same effect.
Amber Dodds’ game decks are literally eye-popping. She could’ve simply embedded 3D imagery onto the cards viewable only by glasses, but why bother when her skills can be better portrayed? The decks have a wonderful pop-out effect with the card’s suits cut into a thick deck; others have a large cut-out of face deck engraved suits that’s pasted on top of a card for more of a 3D effect. It's pretty much 3D with an old-school style that truly shows off Dodds' high level of craftsmanship.
These eye-catching playing cards by Amber Dodds' are available for sale on her Etsy page.
