The Eco-Friendly Ori Sonnenschein Solskin Peels Collection

The Ori Sonnenschein ‘Solskin Peels’ project debuted as part of the annual graduate exhibit for the Industrial Design department of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. Using locally sourced, raw seasonal materials, the designer produced a set of lightweight tableware that is also durable, water-resistant and biodegradable. The fascinating set of dishes is made from citrus peels, and although unconventional, the results are beautifully textured and eco-friendly.
