Wood Electronics

Magno Radio

The Magno portable radio, designed by Singgih Kartono, is almost made entirely of wood. It's carved from Indonesian ebony wood, including the knobs, handle and antenna topper. It's design is reminiscent of the sixties, but has a modern twist. It can receive AM and FM stations and runs off of AA batteries. The Magno radio is available from Japan's assistOn for ¥17,640 or about $142 US dollars.
