Sugar-Powered Battery Could Run your Ipod

Study showed that there can be a better alternative to lithium ion batteries which are used today in most of the portable electronic devices like Ipod and cellphones. Researcher from Saint Louis University in Missouri developed and introduced a battery called fuel cell that can be charged using any source that has sugar content like soft drinks, sodas, and chocolates.

Also, the researchers also claim that these fuel cell batteries runs 4 times longer on a single charge compare to the current lithium ion batteries.
