Virtual Realtime Makeup System

The Mitsukoshi Departmental Store in Ginza and Fujitsu has teamed up to create a system called “Virtual Realtime Makeup System.” It takes an image of your face and as you pick up your favorite cosmetics you will immediately see the results on your face on the LCD screen. It is still on an experimental period through February 12.

Implications - Shopping at cosmetics counters department stores has always had an unavoidable degree of uncertainty due to the consumer's inability to open products and try them out before purchasing.
