The DScar designed by the Students from Cranfield University (one of Western Europe's largest academic centers) is entitled “The Most Affordable Dream Car†by winning the innovation prize at the Société des Ingénieurs de l'Automobile's (SIA), Styling and Technical competition. The car is intended for extreme sports lovers and offers a very unusual ride. It is powered by a Toyota 3 cylinder 68bhp engine and weighs just 500kg.
Implications - The car is shaped like a diamond and is featured in a bright orange color. The judges, who were made up out of a panel of international experts, agreed that the DScar is completely unique. If you saw one driving on the road, you may think it came from outer space!
