Simplified Socket Safety

No Superhuman Strength Necessary to Unplug the Universal Plug

Kim Seung Woo has earned recognition as a Red Dot award winner for his Universal Plug design.

The ergonomically-designed plug-in allows people to easily plug in or extract it from their wall sockets by simply hooking their finger into the cut-out circle, as shown in the gallery above. It's perfect for individuals who have difficulty unplugging cords due to injury, illness or advanced age.

The Universal Plug also features a reminder light on the inner edges of the circle which can act as a night light or serve as a reminder to unplug a given device to save energy.
