I really like this skull skulptures by Amy Sarkisian, even more so than the Hirst skull and I would take these over Damien’s any day. They are really colorful and thereby considerably less morbid than some of the other examples of skulls being used in sculptural pieces.
Amy Sarkisian is behind these, and must have the patience of a saint to bejewel all of these skulls. Personally, the pearl ones are the best, especially since they are the same color palette as bone.
