Hand-Written Guerrilla Street Campaign for Peace in Denmark

A group of young creative individuals are fed up with the growing violence in the streets of Copenhagen. As a counter attack, they are hitting back with handwritten post-it notes all over the city to promote non-violence.

Some of the notes just read, “Only the weak resort to violence." How sweet is that? I support actions like these, and hope the young people who practice violence see these notes and will stop to think twice before they attack innocent people again.

The guerrilla group calls themselves ‘Vandals Against Violence.' Perhaps their wonderful campaign won’t reach the right people or have the huge intended impact, but let’s hope it does. Let’s hope next year will be a peaceful year. The year of ending wars. Good on you, vandals of peace!
