Buddhism-Inspired Furniture

The Infinity Collection

The Infinity furniture and lighting collection by Tangle Creations is based on the Tibetan Infinite Knot. Also known as the Endless or Eternal Knot, the Buddhist symbol has no beginning and no end.

The pieces in the Infinity design collection are titled Art, Sky and Sun--the latter being the globular light fixture.

Designer Richard X Zawitz says, “I finally see the first true marriage between sculpture with furniture and lighting.” The plan is for the stunning collection to become available in the spring of 2009.

Zawitz also designed his ‘Statue of Infinity’ with the same principles. The stainless steel sculptures can be reconfigured into varying shapes with a patented connecting system.
