Boyfriend Jeans

Celebs Fail at Making it Work

For some reason that I have yet to understand, a handful of celebrity women are trying to bring back the boyfriend jeans, some even with the peg rolled hem. Following Posh’s debut wearing this style of jean while at Disneyland with her family, Katie Holmes has been giving readers a jean-a-thon over the past couple of weeks while she attends rehearsal for her Broadway debut All My Sons. Since then, images of Jennifer Aniston wearing this same style have cropped up.

I have gone through the archives of http://www.deminology.co.uk. To my dismay, even more celebs, including Heidi Klum, Amanda Peet, Reese Witherspoon and Rachel Bilson, have been seen strutting around in the same ghastly trend of jeans.

I hesitate to log this in the “hip fashion trends” category. Needless to say, I am not one to time travel and plan on leaving this style right where it belongs--the early 90’s.
