Fake Electronics Made of Felt

Plush Portables

The designs in the gallery give us some more joy from Etsy.com designers. These pieces are from French textile artist Kmila Rodz, who lovingly creates plush, felt versions of popular portable electronic gadgets.

The plush Nintendo comes complete with on-screen Super Mario Bros detail and some designs even have fake game cartridges. The iPhone is, again, just randomly brilliant.

Recreating objects in material is not a new thing, but most commonly this is a trend we see for items such as food. Applying this concept to personal electronics really does give a different feel to the idea, and I think works really well.
