The TX54 is a unique concept of a disposable timepiece that is worn on the user's thumbnail. It is a runner up in the 2154: the future of time design contest, which was held by Timex and Core77.
The translucent watch blends seamlessly with the hand; however, the watch is easily read thanks to a multiple choice of vibrant text colors and a glow function that activates on command.
I like the idea; it's fresh and unique. I am not sure it'd be very practical or hygienic though to have a watch on the thumbnail of the hand you use to eat and do other stuff with.
