Dual Screen, No Frills Cell Phones

Tamer Koseli is an industrial designer who believes the sole purpose of a cell phone should be as a means of basic communication. That in mind, he created a mobile with no superfluous frills, leaving out standard modern features like cameras, MP3s, videos, internet, email access or other multi media technology.

The Need, as Koseli named his concept cell phone, comes fitted with two screens. The first one is a touch screen and the second is an OLED logotype that displays basic information such as your phone book.

It's an interesting concept but most of us have gotten used to all the frilly add-ons. Going back to a phone without a camera, video capabilities or other media features is a blasphemous, cruel and unusual punishment.
