The diminutive, soap-box Bentley Continental DC is a battery-powered electric car. The vehicle, with a carbon fiber body, was built by 10 young apprentices at Bentley Motors. The small throw-back race car proves Bentley is serious about their commitment to go green. The Continental will raise their fleet fuel economy and contribute to lower carbon dioxide emissions.
Its a nice little car but I don't quite follow Bentley's commitment to go green. Is this little one passenger vehicle going to be mass-produced? On the other hand, maybe the Continental DC signals a beginning for Bentley's new-found commitment. One can only hope.
