If you've ever wondered what award-winning interactive architecture looks like, you're seeing it right now.
The Burble London by Haque Design + Research Ltdd with Seth Garlock and Rolf Pixley is running alongside six other projects in six different genres. The burble is the finalist in the Interactive category.
If you watch the video, you'll see you could easily trip out on an installation like this. The huge cluster of about 1,000 massive helium balloons begins as a mass near the ground, microcontrollers and LEDs allowing the "Burble" to light up in different colours.
The interactive component is that both hired artists and the public have the ability to manipulate the shape of the structure through handle bars at the bottom of the Burble.
It was launched at Holland Park in London to celebrate London Fashion Week in September, 2007.
