I love this project by the artist Sighn. The project features hand-crafted "Its OK" pieces. For each piece sold, a tree will be planted (in cooperation with Arbor Day Foundation). The interesting part is that the project has a "limited" edition of 1 Million pieces! That's one million new trees. How long would it take to make a million such pieces by himself? Sighn says only about 60 years or so. Currently, he is in the #500 - #1000 range. You can watch a video of the creation process here.
I like how this project deconstructs our social fascination with expensive "limited edition" products with this $24 piece of art. And how can you say no to planting a tree...
