The HotWick candle is from the US (surprise) where it is handmade. No word on how they infuse the scent, or what the source is, but we can only guess.

Alas, as much as we love to report on the bizarre, it would be a lie to say that these candle really smells like pee. It actually smells more like the cleaning product typically used in public bathrooms. The site says it smells like cinnamon and flowers.

The site says it's, "modeled after a urinal cake our founder once relieved himself on at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. This candle covers both number 1 and number 2 odors and has become a regular contributor in the HOTWICKS world headquarters bathroom. This is the perfect gift for anyone that likes tacos, asparagus, and really hot chicken wings."
