In January 2007, Cognos, a producer of enterprise planning and business intelligence software hired Unisfair as the provider to help put on its first virtual conference. It replacing seven of the face-to-face events scheduled for the Financial Forum tour.

According to marketingprofs.com, by the end 1,232 unique visitors attended the virtual conference (680 on June 19, and another 562 afterward). The event had attracted more visitors than all 10 live 2006 events combined. The tradeshow booths registered 2,300 unique visitors, and the resource center recorded close to 3,000 downloads, both reflecting that a number of attendees downloaded multiple files and/or visited more than one booth. " The result: Congos was recently bought by IBM giving the business a Second Life.
