UN Donates Rice For Correct Answers

FreeRice To End World Hunger

Play the vocabulary game in Freerice.com and help put an end to world hunger. For each word you answer correctly, 10 grains of rice is donated through the United Nations.

FreeRice automatically adjusts to one's level of vocabulary. When you get a word wrong, you go to an easier level. When you get three words in a row right, you go to a harder level. That way learning takes place and everybody gets to contribute to the world hunger cause.

When the game is played, advertisements appear on the bottom of the screen. The money generated by these ads is then used to buy the rice that is to be distributed by the United Nations World Food Program.

It is a win-win situation to all as by learning new words you get to help feed the hungry.
