In 2006, Trend Hunter first wrote about a UK ad firm that offered reverse graffiti, where you wash your ads into the environment. A year later and new firms have been inspired, plus the idea is getting more coverage.
Now, Street Advertising Services are at last offering a more legal solution to street advertising by creating images out of water. This is a spin on guerrilla marketing that is environmentally friendly and even, dare I say it, useful!
They use high-pressure cleaning machines to wash brands, logos and adverts onto dirty pavements using a giant stencil and nothing but steam and water. Brilliant!
