Fashionable Activists

Protest War in Style

Protesting war has gotten a very fashionable twist thanks to a range of notable industry leaders. Israeli born designer Nili Lotan is making a serious statement, using stunningly simple lines, graphic images and symbolic motifs. The flowing shapes and other attributes are all reminiscent of the 60s and 70s. Lotan delivers a delightful Spring 2008 Collection -- a lot more creative than nude activism!

Implications - Nili Lotan has also worked with major brand labels such as Ralph Lauren and Nautica. She was inspired by her childhood while making her innovative Spring 2008 collection. The featured images in the gallery show off some of her exquisite work including dresses with daringly low neck lines.
