Venezuela Changes Time Zone

Extra 30 Mins Of Sleep For Kids

Venezuela's President Chavaz announced that commencing next Monday, the nation's clock will move forward by half an hour. This will be the only nation in the world whose time zone is differentiated by a half hour instead of exact hour. Chavaz said he was doing it for the good of the nation's children, allowing them an additional half of sleep in the mornings before school.

The good of the children will be a burden for businesses, however, especially because it will involve finding new ways to reprogram computers to adjust to the time changes.
