Known as the “most expensive piece of art ever made,” the One Billion Dollar art project by Mike Marcovici is a very basic and simple representation of what a billion dollars looks like. The Austria-based artist used 10 million $100 bills on 12 pallets to comprise the one billion dollars.
“One Billion Dollar is not so much about what you see, but what you could do or not do with the money,” says Mike Marcovii. It is apparently still unknown whether Mike Marcovici used real money or not (my guess is not).
