First Paper-Thin Bendable LCD Viewing Panel

The first color electronic paper, by LG Philips was unveiled this week. The paper-thinviewing panel bendable and energy efficient, "only using power when the image changes on the display." Chief technology officer and E.V.P. Chung In-Jae said that "this represents the next generation in display technology" and that the new display technology will allow for new products to be created that are "not only convenient to use but also save natural resources."

Implications - LG Phillips has come out with the very first bendable viewing panel. The panel bears a ressemblance to actual paper, hence why it is garnering a lot of attention. The panel is pretty thin, measuring only .3 millimetres. If you want to be ahead of the curb this is definitely the device that you need to pick up.
