Fans of ‘The Simpsons’ will get a new thrill tonight as the longtime animated comedy has its HD debut. To commemorate the occasion, Matt Groening and his team have rendered a brand new, extra-long intro in which their infamous couch goes on the lam.

After traveling the world and outer space in pursuit, our favorite cartoon family finally wrangles their couch and heads back to their perch in front of the TV. “The Simpsons” HD episode is entitled “Take My Life, Please,” and will feature the first full opening sequence makeover since its premiere in 1989, according to TV Week.
