Sophia Loren Wants to Clean Naples

If you loved Sophia Loren already, chances are, if you have a heart for the planet, you'll have even more admiration for the 73 year old now. The stunning actress has been making public efforts to help clean up Naples.

"I beg you, with my hands clasped in prayer, to multiply efforts to remedy to this tragedy," she said, adding, "I look at this tragedy with deep anguish in my heart."

Apparently, the city has gotten so dirty, garbage collectors are leaving trash on the curbs because there is no more room in the land fills. To make things worse, for some reason, residents have protested against creating new garbage dumps.

Loren is now urging residents of the Italian city she once lived in to collaborate to make it a cleaner pale to live.
