Flojo Tribute Fashion Show

To show her fascination with the 1988 Olympic running champion Florence 'Flojo' Griffith-Joyner, Joline Jolink brought her Spring/Summer 2009 Collection to the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium.

Jolink chose a very uncommon, yet timely, location to stage her show. The clothes themselves are resonant of the sports fever, but reminiscent of Flojo's maverick style.

Flojo captivated the world for her speed prowess, as well as for making running fashionable with her flamboyant running uniforms. While running for her gold and silver medals, she had been known to sport 15cm colourful nails and wear flashy, one-legged catsuits.
