Asymmetrical Armchairs

The One-Armed Chair from Mixture Furniture

The One Armed Chair from San Diego-based Mixture Design may be asymmetrical, but that doesn’t mean it’s not attractive. A simple combination of natural wood and canvas create an oddly interesting seat.

I can’t come up with a reason you’d want to have a chair with only one arm, but it still looks cool. So maybe form wins over function with the One Armed Chair, but then again, two chairs can be combined to form a bench. Maybe the One Armed Chair is more functional than it appears at first glance.
