Metal Nest Exteriors

The Manny Building is Covered in Aluminum Bars

Looking almost unfinished in construction, with its bird’s-nest-like facade, the Manny building in Nantes, France, imposes a sense of calculated chaos upon the surrounding environment.

The Manny building, which will house architecture studios and creative businesses, was designed by French architects Tétrarc and features an exterior covered in aluminum bars. Creating a nest-like pattern, the aluminum bars help to hide the appearance of office clutter from passersby, according to Dezeen.
