Guerrilla Trashcan Makeovers

The Five Black Bins Project

There's no doubt that the hundreds of wheeled trash bins that dot every neighborhood are eyesores. After all, they're meant to hold trash, not look good, right? The agency called Cow took the brutal bins in their collective hands and organized a guerrilla beautification campaign in Woodstock, Cape Town. Five trash bins were taken from random addresses, and each one was given to a different design agency for a vinyl makeover.

Implications - The five agencies that were involved in the awesome makeovers are Am I Collective, Cow, Kronk, The President and Room 13. The locations where the bins were placed were all chosen at random. The people whose bins were taken away from their homes were quite delighted when they got them back all doctored up in amazing designs.
