11 Flighty Kites

When I think of childhood, I think of sandboxes, tag, trees and more. In particular, however, I think of flying kites. I think the ‘Mary Poppins’ song, ‘Let’s Go Fly a Kite,’ sums it up quite well. I haven’t touched one, let alone flown one, in ages. But I know if I did today, it would transport me right back to when I was a little tyke tugging on my father’s shirt to take me out.
