Eco-Friendly Pumps By Sergio Rossi Made of Recycled Leather

In correlation with Yann Arthus Bertrand's film about the state of the environment, Italian shoe designer Sergio Rossi is releasing a pair of eco high heels.

The Rossi shoes are made of recycled leather, use vegetable dyes for color, and eco-friendly packaging.

More than that, both the packaging and the shoe are entirely biodegradable. The Sergio Rossi shoes will be available in select stores starting June 5th.

Implications - The eco-chic group of consumers wants to find products that are not only eco-friendly, but fashionable. By having designer shoes that are made of upcycled materials such as eco-friendly packaging and making their object completely out of recycled leather, the target group feels less guilty about their purchase knowing that they helped the environment.
