Plans Revealed for Upgrade of London's Tate Modern

New designs for the Tate Modern Museum in London have been released for viewing. The project will the be first museum in the world to showcase a full spectrum of 21st-century art. With one of the world’s largest collections of contemporary art, this architectural masterpiece aspires to be an example for further regeneration of the Southwark area.

The site and surrounding areas of the modern art museum have been under development for the last few years. As a tourist attraction, the Tate is in the top three attractions in the UK. Development is scheduled to be completed for the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
