Cow Sculpture Made of 2,000+ Recycled Clocks and Watches

Artist Michael Roberts created this eco-friendly cow sculpture from recycled watches and clocks he had been collecting for years. Aptly named 'Pasture Bedtime,' the piece was created using in excess of 2000 discarded timepieces.

The impressive sculpture was recently sold at auction for $11,500, and a part of the proceeds were donated to American Family Children's Hospital.

Implications - This cow sculpture is a perfect example of an art piece that has been created mainly for the greater good. While telethons and poster prints are a great way to promote a cause, the use of art has been a great way to educate the public about the various ways in which they can help the disadvantaged.
