Retail giant ‘Walmart’ states that a single gold ring generates approximately 20 tons of mining waste! Their new eco-friendly jewelry line, Love, Earth, was started to provide jewelry with less of an impact on communities and the environment. 

They will sell jewelry that can be traced back to the sustainable mine it came from - providing a story with each piece.

It seems like a bit of a publicity stunt, but, what isn’t these days?

After all, as kindred spirits who share in the abundance our planet provides, we are connected to each other and to the Earth. The health and longevity of our planet depends upon our awareness of the Earth’s limitations, and upon the choices we make in our everyday lives.
