The World's First Back-To-Front Shoe

Designer Marc Jacobs has brought a whole new meaning to walking on your toes with the release of the world’s first back to front heel. “A chunky, four-inch heel nestles horizontally just under the ball of the foot,” Spluch.com clues us in. “Where you’d expect a heel, there is nothing but fresh air. The centre of gravity therefore is somewhere under the arch of the foot, forcing the whole body to tilt forward.”

As part of the 2008 collection from acclaimed fashion designer Marc Jacobs, users will be given the opportunity to wear both plain and high-priced Swarovski crystal shoes.
