The Urbatek Showroom by CuldeSac is Modern in its Design Aesthetic

— April 24, 2012 — Art & Design
The Urbatek Showroom is a 900 sq-m presentation space created for a flooring company in Castellon, Spain. Designed by CuldeSac studio, this sleek and simplistic interior shines a spotlight on sharp linear elements that vary in opacity and transparency.

These glass elements are layered atop one another and displayed with a multitude of cut-out carpet pieces that are surrounded by LED borders. From reflective architectural elements to patterned porcelain flooring, this stark interior relies on subtle details for a strong focal point.

Aiming to create the sensation of infinite space, designer Alberto Martínez hopes that the Urbatek Showroom gives users a chance to interact with the flooring manufacturer's materials, showcasing how they can be utilized most effectively.
